Kazakh National Medical University is founded in 1930 named after S.D. Asfendiyarov by RSFSR SP council’s decision in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Kazakh National Medical University is first institute and the no.1 medical institute in Kazakhstan and first rector was S.D. Asfendiyarov, who was graduate from Leningrad Military Medical Academy. The Kazakhstan government classified it as a “national” university of the country in 2001. There is 4.5 years course in India in admission for study MBBS, Comparing from Kazakhstan, it has 5 years MBBS course. But pattern is somewhat similar to Indian study pattern.
