WESTERN Solomon Surfing Association President, Jeremy Baea is optimistic of more youths taking up the sport after a successful turnout in a series of surfing competitions over the years.
“Our main group Association has a total of 30 members these are only registered members most young people in communities who can surf but don’t because of a lack of surfboards,” Baea said. “At the moment there are only a handful of surfers in the Solomons.” Visit our website to read more.
